Er .. Where is the speedo sensor ?

Er ..... As above lol , where is the speedo sensor on my 2001 172 ph2 ? Pissing me off now lol

if its a ph2, its done by the abs ring i think

ph1's have cable driven speedo from the gearbox

Incorrect, early Ph2 should have speedo sensor.

No need to remove anything to swap it. Over down the back of the gearbox, next to the exhaust manifold

Replaced mine a few days ago on my ph2,was on the back of gearbox like dannyr said.

AS said, if it's on the back of the box, lean over the top of the engine and look down, should see it sticking out, or at least see the heat shield.
