erratic power delivery at speed

Hi, i was wondering if anyone had any ideas on the following problem. I have an 04 reg clio 182 with 41k on the clock, Over the last couple of weeks it has developed a problem, You can rev the engine freely at standstill and acceleration, the problem arises more on the motorway, if you are in 4th or 5th gear doing about 60 and floor the accelerator the power delivery seems to oscillate as though you are lifting your foot on and off the accelerator quickly, if you gradually accelerate it is ok. Also don't know whether its my imagination but the air intake or exhaust noise seems to have changed about about 4k revs. many thanks

sounds like the coilpack to me mate or one of the coils, not sure if they're seperate on a clio

Check you've not sucked up a bag or something in the air intake.
