Ive got error code -J--
Also the car won't start.

That's simply saying the clockset is missing fuel level information. Check your fuel pump is getting power and if not, go to the fuses in the engine bay.

Fuel pump starts up for about a second then goes off!
There was a humming/ buzzing sound under the bonnet when the ignition was on prior to the battery going flat but not now and it won't start
