Escort Cosworth

Dare I ask: whats the point? A car is to be driven, why pack it away for 10 years?! I've covered 12k in my Cup over the last 10 months (4 commuting, 8 for the hell of it) and I still feel like I haven't made the most of it.

I'm sure many will hope this is trailered around and displayed at shows etc, I personally think it would be more fitting if the new owner got it out on the track and had some fun.

^
thats what I though too.
Graham Goode Racing is very well respected amongst the rs boys. I doubt the dude would sell a sh*tter tbh.

Bit of a shame its not a lux model tbh (no leather, pop out windows & electric windows etc)

All very well and its been in storage but that red ford paint looks f**kked!

i thought this as well...dus seem abit dodgey....sum1 who lives in the area should go check it out and post a review lol

graham goode are prob the daddies when it comes to cossies and it is quite likely that the milage is very genuine

Yeah they were about 22k new - although as I said the on on ebay is just a normal one, its not the better 'lux' model.

I remember Jeremy Clarkson had one (he still raves on about it on tv etc) he said when they were the ultimate theives toy they wanted 20k to insure it !

yea I think I remember that as well, he said it was near enough the same price as the car as it was all young lads whno had them and wrote them off?

Purely amazing - and nice to see people who "Store" these cars so we can still get perfect examples like this today (at a premium of course)

i worked at ggr 4 8 years and have seen the car on many ocasion it is a minter but a small turbo escort so you would be limited to around the 330bhp . things are changing there now hence the car sales and why i left .:D

Sad waste of a car as it will never used.

Not the one to go for as said non lux and in one of the worst colours IMO (but loved by the RS boys by all accounts).

It will only ever go on up in value if kept in this condition. Anyone been to Imperial Palace Las Vegas? They have a mint RS200 on show for a cool quarter million+
