I hadn’t really driven my 182 Cup with this function deactivated, other than the obligatory couple of miles after I picked her up. As I wasn’t ragging the car due to it only having 20 miles on the clock, I didn’t really notice any change.

I hit the button the yesterday after 4500 miles and it was like driving a different car! I loved it. The car didn’t think it just did exactly what I told it to do, for better or for worse. Superb fun.

Anyone with a 182 have a similar, "I see the light!" moment?

I've just gone past 4000 miles and do notice the difference, makes it even more fun! :)

Although, I'm not so confident keeping it off in the wet and pushing it.

I had the new Astra as a hire car in the Alps a few weeks back. It had ESP and I could not find the switch to turn it off.

It really blew my mind though, I have driven a lot in the snow and this car had snowtires too which makes it a lot easier but it was awesome! I could keep my foot planted, turn around a corner and the car just went around it!

I even took it to an empty car park and tried to spin the thing but it just goes where you point the wheels! I am sold and my next car will definately have it on, just for the lazy days when you aren't putting 100% in of course. :D
