Not going to be able to make this now. Doh, not good with the big turn out, would of been good to catch up with everyone again!

Hope it's a good event and make alot of money for charity.

Just a heads up best way for low cars such as vees drive in via ikea/mercedes off of roundabout from retail park. The other way from west Thurrock has nasty speed bumps!

Hey,

I received a call from TDI today asking that everyone who is putting their car on the rollers must bring along with them details of their cars gear ratios.

I assume this is info that can be found on the internet - or at least I hope so!

To make it a little easier if you could add them next to your name on the list when you've got the info. That way those with the same car can copy etc. and I'll print that out and take it along Saturday morning.

If anyone has any issues finding them let me know :)

What on earth do they need to know that for, and why at the last minute !?

I haven't a clue of the gear ratios of any of the cars I've ever owned, let alone one I've had for a month.

I'm guessing they want to know which gear is closest to a 1:1 ratio ?

Ratios of a Ph2 172, anyone !?

How many significant figures would they like their ratios to ? Sash is the only one that has managed to get an almost infinite figure, albeit upside-down and probably the wrong box as there's 6 drive and one final ratio. Maths not your strong point dearest ? :rasp:

Do all mk2ph2 RS have the same box !? If so, Vicky, myself and you and whoever else can use "3.08/1.86/1.32/1.03/0.8 final drive 4.07" - PH2 mk2 172 thanks to TOGUSA.

If its the gear ratios then for the fiesta ST its:

1st 3.58 / 5.1
2nd 2.04 / 9
3rd 1.41 / 13
4th 1.11 / 15.5
5th 0.88 / 20.8
6th no data
Final drive 3.82
