Estimated range detection/display problem

Car  Renault Clio 1.2 16v
My car would not start last week, the AA came out and fixed it (crank sensor needed replacing).

Since then my Estimated range calculator is not working, it just keeps flashing '----'.

Has the AA man dislodged something while investigating the problem for the Estimated range not to work anymore? Before he came out there has never been a problem with the computer detecting my Estimated range?

Hope someone can help, thanks

My car has been doing this for the last few months ever since I got my cambelt done!

Would love to find out why! :(

Yeh I went through every screen and then reset it using the button on the dash!

I changed my lamba sensor to as I thought it was on its way out and related but to no avail!

Yep, same as above, reset all trips and this did not solve it. I have read through the manual and it does not mention this fault in the computer section or troubleshooting?

He did look at the fuel pump under rear passenger seats and unplug it to run diagnostics, i have had a look at it and looks like it is pushed in correctly?

Have you reset the clocks?

Hold button on end of stalk and turn ignition on so dash lights up. The clocks should start dancing.

Scroll through pressing the button, turn ignition off.

Ill try that tonight Danny.

When mine broke I had unplugged the fuel pump to!

I did this this morning danny and it bloody worked!

I also went through every screen and pressed the reset button so one of them did the job!

Cheers!
