The Williams, the mark 1 172, the V6 and the Cup ALL came with nice alloys as standard, But the mark 2 172 got such a plain, unbranded set. Why???

(dont know what the standard valver wheels were coz everyones changed em!)

I like the mk2 172 alloys, the mk1s looks piddly and sh*t, superturismos on the V6 are an old max power favourite. Cups are very nice :)

Yeah, I too like the mk2 wheels and aparently they were chosen because they were light (?) but I also like the cup wheels, I was planning on buying some speedlines before the cup came out and now they are on the cup im really glad i didnt.

I just cant find any aftermarket wheels that I prefer to the standard ones - well not any that justify spending £700 or more anyway. I did spot one design that I liked (Lenso RS5), but they dont make em in the correct fitment for the car.. :(

I do prefer the cup wheels thou. but theres already a 172 near me with cup wheels, and as I said in another thread I have decided to go for some konsei snippers as I havent seen anyone in the gallery on here with them, I thought theyd be a bit different, they will be near me anyway, as the bloke at the shop said hed only put them on one other clio!!

Im keeping my current tyres and getting part exchange for my old ones so I only have to fork out £200, better than £600/£700 quid over the net and then having to sell mine....:D
