Yep - listened to this on the train home. A of love for Renaultsport as you would imagine with the R26R and Clio WIlliams being proclaimed amongst the “best they have driven”

Love Dickie Meaden and John Barker when reading their written word but John Barker on video is just a flat NO. Sounds like a serial killer who is obsessed with stamp collecting - just one boring drawl of a man

Agreed. I've noticed they've started to leave him out of some videos, even when he's present. He was at the RS3/A45/GRY test but didn't appear on camera. A great writer, but not a presenter by any means.

You can quickly tell which ones are suited to it. Catchpole and Bovingdon are good. Meaden is a bit and miss. I think even Harris is a bit off in his recent videos. The vlog style doesn't really suit him.

Like the old 'voice for radio'. Some people cannot make the transition.

I guess with written word you get time to ponder over it. Go back reword it. Then Editor looks at it.

Podcast where camera just runs for 30 mins with not takes or edits need personality to show through.

Shows how good some of these one man band youtubers are.
