hello all

i have been a member before a few years ago and know a few people from before like jas and also know nik and a few more of the old school members.
i used to own a mk1 clio 172 in silver, prob saw it had a renault diamond placed on the bonnet, black alloys and the car one cliosport car of the year in 2003. hard not too miss it really, some liked some didnt, i prob did go over the top a little bit, that just me being young i suppose.

well since then i moved on to a meggy 225, but now that is going.

in its place will be a full spec liquid yellow clio R27 i picking it up on september the 1st as i want a 57 plate.
my salesman has just informed me it has just arrived in the country and will be at my dealership next monday, so going down on my day off which is wednesday to see it and give it its first present an itg filter.

i will try post some pics if i can

nice choice thats a bit quick i was told my dynamique would arive at the dealer on 26th of aug for an i pick it up in september im asuming your getting it from inchcape they going to store it for 2months

alan- you have a good memory, mind due could not miss my old clio.

daydotz- yes getting it from inchcape yes they storing it till sept 1st pick it up at 9am all booked in already, said should arrive next monday i hope, been a long wait as i ordered it in april, all i had was delay after delay after delay but end is near i hope.

bland- found some for you still have the rear clusters as they are very rare i paid a bomb for them and wont be able to get them anywhere now should flog them really paid over £300 for them from prima-racing but that going back a bit now. here a few pics for ya

yes not sure when nik was picking his up i knew he was not going to wait, looks good in black he will be pleased, gonna try meet up with him another freind just brought one in fareham so maybe a mini meet once we all got umm.

yes outside is going to stay normal, well might do a renault sport cup front splitter but thats it no spoilers or sideskirts etc, few power mods milltek exhaust with sports cat and a remap, got an itg then just little bits and bobs but yes older and wiser now lost too much money but enjoyed doing it.

yes keep an eye out or pop along when we have a little meet up

but yes it was low, did love that car, has to be one of my favourites

jay r yes they were over £300 but they were way out befor all the chavy lexus lights come out, yes was on ebay, when i part ex to my dealer they sold it on then the bloke who had it put it on ebay i think.

just had news my new car is at dealer now so poping in before work to see the beast i will try take some pics but i wont have long

Welcome back, remember seeing your Clio and the Meggy at Customise Perfection when my son Tim worked there. he persuaded me to buy the 182 but Customise had gone before I could have any work done on it. Looking forward to seeing the R27. Liquid Yellow is my fave colour. Are you keeping the stickers. Saw one yesterday and it looked awesome.

thanks guys, well here the arrival day pics fresh from the transporter, yes having it with all the decals will be staying standard maybe the cup front splitter and a few power mods but no cosmetics.

yes i remember tim, he worked on my cars, yes am keeping all the decals on.
dave still does small jobs, he working near the polygon area i have the mobile number if you need it, takes his time to answer but know he looking for a new premises.

Dave's painting my engine cover something special at the moment, waiting for the final result but it will be different than anything I've seen on here. Tim is working for Triangle sprays out in Cadnam now, so is now a mainstream Mercedes Benz sprayer. He misses the custom work but still dabbles with his own car and mine when he can get his hands on it.

Tim sends his regards. Can't wait to see the R27 in the flesh as it looks stunning. :approve:

Hello and welcome back. We are still lurking in the background. I think that we had the blue Mk. 1 at the time you had your silver one. We too have moved on a bit and now Helen had an inferno full fat 182 and I have a striped out cup.
I might even be temped out for a meet if you are coming.
