Exhaust advice - 172

  Iceberg 172
A little help with exhaust systems please fellas.

I bought my 172 last weekend and its got on it a recently replaced OEM backbox and centre section that every other exhaust fitting place calls the OEM exhaust from Renault (we all know it isn't the OEM exhaust). see picture below, RN903 and RN904.

The exhaust mount is shagged and I need to replace that, but I'm wondering what I can replace the exhaust with in the future. I know a stainless steel one, and I'd more than likely buy a second hand one off of the for sale section once it comes up.

In terms of getting it fitted, what system can I buy that I can fit myself? trying to save money ;)

Thanks,
Dan

This is the exhaust mount. Would you buy another to see if fail again? Some people say just use some pipework? And zippy ties to fix it. How do I do that and is it safe?

Usually people just bodge them. My current one is filled with bonding stuff.

I dont think they are expensive so you could always just buy a new one, they arnt hard to fit.
