exhaust advise

Im looking at a new exhaust system for my 03 172. The system in question is a 2 1/4" system.I'm told that the clio relys on backpressure in creating it's low down talk.Has anyone felt any loss in power low down after installing a free flowing system?Would I find a greater gain from installing a high flow cat?I've been looking into this for some time and I've heard so many different opinions.I want to do this soon so I was hoping for some feedback from anyone thats had an aftermarket system fitted.What it felt like after fittment,any increased accleration or loss low down etc...Much appreciated.

No need to worry about removing back pressure realy.

Decat/sports catt helps on 172 a fair bit depends how yours is.

the guy that sold me mine advised me the same for my 2003 cup; so i got one with a sportscat. But at the same time i did the "group N" ecu change so i could'nt really tell you how the exhaust made a difference.

The car has a bundle of strenght from down below now though
