Exhaust Burnt Bumper

  Meg 230 R26 F1
Hi, can anyone give me some advice on how to tidy up my rear bumper, as my ktec stealth was fitted a touch too far back and has burnt a hole through the rear bumper?

the bumper has bent inward as a result of the heat and the bottom inch or so around the exhaust exits has actually burnt away...i was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what they have done to make it look a little more respectable, rather than buy a new bumper?

can anyone help?

cheers

i'm afraid i have to hold my hands up to this one...got it fitted on the cheap and it needed another inch or so taking off the centre pipe. will get this sorted before repair or new bmper obviously, so i dont blow another bumper.

still...anyone got any ideas of fixing rather than new bumper if possible?

Ouch I think youd be better sourcing a new bumper its really eaten away at it, Doesnt look like burning though just a dodgy cut

any ideas no how i should cut this to make it look a little neater?

not sure if i should just cut it to fit a 182 exhaust surround, but might look weird with no pipe coming out of it... or should i cut it to make it straight with rounded edges?

does anyone know if the 182 surrounds are flexible and could they be bent and fixed onto the bumper if i cut it straight with rounded edges?

thanks for any help
