exhaust de-cat

Rite i need help. I have a powerflow backbox but thats it.i want to replace the cat so its just a pipe, will this make a differrence in noise?Any1 expierienced the ones from K-tech? any good? thanx

Ive got a full K-Tec exhaust with 4.5" slash cut tailpipe and straight through de-cat pipe and it sounds like a rally car!!!
