Exhaust fitting kit bolt removal Help !!!!!!!

Ive got the passeger side of the fitting kit bolt off between the manifold and cat but im really struggling on the other one.

just struggling to get a spanner and socket on while lying on my back and tried doing in from the top also in the engine bay !

any tips or anythink that may make it easier ?

I am going to take the engine out so i may just wait until the engine is removed !

Just been searching and i know people drop the subframe to get a 182 manifold.

Will doing this allow me to get the 172 manifold out without trying to get the other bolt out the fitting kit ?

I assume you mean the round gasket that joins manifold to the cat yeah?

Its a bit of a pig, did mine a few weeks back. Ideally you need somone on the other end to hold the nut still while you undo it. Its possible to get to it but you cant turn it a great deal at a time

yeah thats the one, i'm struggling as i'm trying to do it on my own . i managed to do the one on the right but thr right one is a rite pig !

Think i'm going to try lowering subframe and take the whole thing out !

is a pain !!!!!!!!!!
