Exhaust Heat Guard Bolt Size?

(nuts not bolts! oops)

Hi,

I know a 10mm spanner will fit around the nuts, but i don't know how that translates into nut size?

I want to get new ones to replace the rusty ones when i take them off.

Any ideas?

1/4" nuts do the job from B&Q.

The exhaust one although after I took off the rusty bolt and replaced it - it didn't cure my rattling noise.

What is the item I've highlighted in the photo? because apparently there's a nut missing and needs tightening up.

Do you know what tools, nut i need? I can't see down the holes because of the angle.

i also want to take my fuel raill guard off (to polish it) is it just a guard ? so a case of unbolting it and it will come straight off ?

yup 2 x 10mm nuts

two bolts, job done! Put the bolts back if you're leaving it off though. Bolts are deap in the holes in the front of it

best soak them with something like wd40 as when i removed mine, i sheared one of them.
