Exhaust heat sheild

Do i really need the exhaust shield round the back box it's rattling and really p*ssing me off?

are all the clips on it?, mine used to one clip kept coming off , renewed it now its fine

It's just after my stupidly load custom exhaust was put on it seems to rattle the clips loose. Is there somewhere i can get some heat resistant material?
