exhaust help again...

in need of some advice again...

what are your opinions on this:

i[/URL] know its only a backbox but it might be alright sound wise :O, or would i be better getting a full system!

quick search of titles only "peco" get loads of results!
general consensus seems to be "over loud" and "chavvy" lol alot of save your money quotes too!

theyll do you a backbox for £150 or so im sure then you can choose the noise level

I have a peco on my 1.2, its not overloud at all. In fact, it sounds almost identical to my 182 when idling! When reving, it has a deep rumbling sound that brakes into a roar at a bout 4500rpm. When I bought the exhaust many years ago (6 year ago), I was looking for something really loud and was actually disapointed with the dB levels of the peco exhuast. When I asked peco about it, they said they have quieted down there exhausts as they had many requests to make them quieter.

People used to say it sounded like a sports car coming down the road and were disappointed when it wasnt! lol.

I know it's a different car but on my 1.1 saxo I had a sportex exhaust, and tbh for the money it was fine, lasted the 2 years I had the car (before I wrote it off lol) had no problems with it, apart from the drone on long journeys, but you soon get used too it. They are also loud, very loud infact, mine wasnt decatted either lol.

i quite like the look of the full systems in here, but would 4" not look silly on a clio as i checked and it is rather big :O was thinking more of 3"?

anyone got any pictures of there clio with a 4" exhaust...
