Exhaust manifold to cat fitting kit, paste needed

Hi guys. Quick question, do I need to apply exhaust assembly paste on to gasket that comes with fitting kit? Between manifold and catalyst? Or do it Dry? ?

No paste needed at all . The springs pull it and it’ll settle in no bother

Dry, its a joint that allows for movement.
