Its not easy fitting a 182 manifold (thats a s**t copie btw)

The manifold will bolt on, but that link pipe looks to be for a 182, so if the items pictured are exactly what you get, then I'd say it will not be a direct fit.
As for being worth it, that's down to personal opinion I suppose, but don't expect 7 - 15bhp.

Don't waste your money it's a bigger job than it looks for a few bhp

Ha daelo I never noticed that house power. I know what it means it's for your gas pipes it helps to get your gas bills higher by 7-15 percent lol. Agreed clowns. @Phaser1sr what your saying it's not worth the effort really to much work involved to see no or little difference.

I've got a genuine 182 manifold with a sports cat which is positioned correctly to join to a 172 exhaust. 150 quid collected.

But as above it's a lot of hassle to fit for not a lot of gain.

I wasn't that impressed by the 182 manifold on a 172. You loose in one place (mid) to gain in another (top end). It's not that bad to swap over but some high axle stands definitely make it easier.

I've got a unit I can use to do it.
Also I know my car as been mapped (not while in my possession) Because when did a rolling roads backed off 7500 rpm. Back on to manifold if I go for the 182 one would it be worth getting the inlets matched then?

Waste of time putting a 182 manifold in imo.

Pointless trying to put a 182 bumper and exhaust on due to the work involved with the floor pan where the spare wheel sits.

Would not bother with matched inlets just source some rs stamped ones. Did you just have the belt changed not long back?

The money you spend trying to make it look like a 182. You hmay aswell sell yours and put that money into just buying one.

Doubt very much they was backing off at 7.5k rpm. What rr was this and where? Come along to santa pod 21st june with the midlands lot.

Yeah about 2 months ago I had it done.

The rpm to be correct was 7480 rpm the guy pushed it up to. I will find the the sheet out and post it up for you
