Exhaust Mounts

I have a Mk1 KTR Stealth thats banging all over the place. Where do i get new rubber mounts and are they easy to fit ?

I got an exhaust mount for £21.76 from renault... btw, the new ehaust your putting on is most likely to be heavier than the original exhaust so it might be worth modifying your new mount...heres an example...

i did something similar to this for my ktec stealth and it doesnt move at all.

Still drops in time even with that method but will help a bit.

Im gonna trawl the breakers yards for a more heavy duty mount off something else and get a mate to weld it up to the original.

my mount is actually modded with inch long pieces of hose pipe, with a slightly thinner silicon pipe pushed inside the hose, then a section of copper pipe wedged inside that...not really going to drop with the copper pipe in it.

especially if you cable tie the hose pieces in place under the hangar of the exhaust.
