I had no silencers at the rear and passed M.O.T no probs. Was rather loud.
Only thing was that it pissed off the hot receptionist when it was running, you could hear it though the walls lol

Most track organisers say 98db and sometimes 108db (though not often).
Road use is 90db, which is more like Rage backbox loud, not straight through loud.
BTW do you mean a straight through exhaust, or has he just taken the silencer off ?? There's a difference

They have always been able to if you drive through town with 2 1000W JLs going off like nukes, or if you're revving it through 1st and 2nd. Generally down to the cop and what they think of you though. I don't think it's under a specific law other than "disturbing the peace".
