exhaust now rattles why

ive lowered my car and now the exhaust rattle a lot is this beacause it is to low

it never used to untill i lowered it

anyone know why this is

the section of pipe that comes out the rear silencer goes over the trailing arm, when you lower the car they get closer together and often knock, thats probably what youre hearing.

is there any way of stopping it rattleing

custom rear box, or if its a slight rattle you could maybe get away with raising the box a little if thats an option.

mines been doing this for months but ive just been down elite to sort my brakes and while that was getting done the bloke working on my car noticed the exhaust rubbing on the trailing arm so he heated the exhaust up and made a slight indent in the pipe where it was knockin.seems to have sorted it
