exhaust question? anyone know???(mk2 172)

if you can remove a standard 172 exhaust without cutting the link pipe?

not if its original, if its had a replacement backbox there wll be a clamp above the rear beam...

was told you cant take the exhaust off 182 without cutting it, load of crap just took the bolts out of the shocker tops in the boot and dropped back axle down, peice of piss, you need two of you though too guide them back and line the springs up. might work on 172

as above, if you dont want to cut it then undo the rear dampers and jack the car up the axle beam will drop enough for you to feed the exhaust out without needing to cut it.
