Exhaust questions

I am looking into putting a 17t lump in my Rt. Putting valver brakes on and a proper suspension set up but not sure on the exhaust. Will the Rt exhaust be ok (dont want the bore size restricting power)? Or would i be better getting a 1.8 16v exhaust (bigger bore?) or something custom made.

custom made really as with a turbo lump u want the largest exhaust bore as possible as far as i know

Hmmm thats what i was thinking. Thought maybe a 1.8 16v would have a bigger bore as standard?

Anyone?
