Exhaust recommendations?

Ok so I own a 1.2 16v Mk2 Ph2, and I'm looking for a 'sportier' sound from it. I'm not looking/bothered about performance.

Am I right in thinking that purely a back box will give me the sound I want?

Also, I'm not looking at stupid 5" Jap style back boxes, I want a stealth back box! But is it possible/worth buying stealth back boxes?

Ahhhh I'm confused now, somebody help me please



PS I work at a McDonalds so money is tight, hence only looking for a back box if possible

The mild steel one ain't a bad price at all for a full system! Or you could try looking around for a used one...

Yeah, thanks for your help I'll keep a look out on here for a used one, otherwise I'll save up and hopefully buy the £178 one by Christmas

Just read it's MOT friendly too, which makes me all the more confident

I have just fitted a supersports to mine, impressed with the quality & fit - took me a few days to get used to the extra noise haha

I got the supersports steel version and its really nice noise

Its on my phase 2 1.2 16v with no other mods and its quiet on idle quiet on motorway but if you give it some it makes you smile with a lovely rasping scream
