Exhaust Rotting ?

  BMW F21 125d
The standard system on my 182 gives out alot of condensation/water when been driven properly, all sprays nicely up the rear window and makes it look as though there is some form of problem with my car (to other road users at least). It's not coloured, no blue, nothing, so can only presume its condensation.

Anyway, is this a sign that the exhaust is rotting from the inside out ? Due to the ridicoulos (sp) price of a standard system would be looking at replacement with Stainless Steel.

All help appreciated!

+1 The back of my car is always covered in s**t from the exhaust. Funny because you can clean the car so it's all shiney and a few days later the rear looks messy as fook!

Its normal, just condensation building up. Give it a long run to dry it out.

the cat converter´s output is water (amongst other stuff). If you remove the cat, there won´t be any more water on the exhaust unless your head gasket is f´d
