Exhaust sounding boomy

Right, this has been bugging me for a while now.

My car seems to be quite loud. Now, I#m not sure if it's normal, but I drove a 182, and it was quite compared to mine.

It's quite boomy when booting it, and i'm 99% sure the sound is coming from the exhaust, not the engine. Is there anything that could cause this?

The car has a non standard centre section, which Mike@Rentech informed me about, and wanted to know where I got it, so couldn't have been bad. Just wondering whether that would cause it?

It sounds quite good, but if it's not meant to sound like it, then obviously I want to find out why it's doing it.

loose clamp or the exhaust is blowing, chack the middle section and just before the back boxes for cracks

Well I've had it up on a ramp, and cannot find any blows from the cat back? I'm doubting the manifold is blowing, would it be obvious if it was?
