Exhausts not from Renault?

Can u get a replacement standard exhaust from some where other than Renault?

My 172 came with some real dodgy 1.4 exhaust welded on to it and was replaced by ktec stealth shortly after. When i was looking i didnt find anyone who did an exhaust for it. Dont get me wrong the stealth i great but i had to get a replacement centre section after it started rattling soon after the last airfield meet, bad batch apparently and all is fine now. Its just that were thinking of doing abit of a european tour in the car next summer and im not sure if id want to put up with the noise (wee bit boomy) for all those thousands of miles, plus selling the stealth would free up some cash hopefully.....

id have thought the likes of Bosal and Timax would do one, in which case ring up any exhaust place like Budjet/Kwik Fit/National etc and ask if they list one

be aware that some of the exhaust parts you can get are cheap for a reason, they are gash and might only last a year

Do uz ken where i would get a magnex exhaust or a blue flame exhaust for a 172? but not from renault? cheers!

Eurocar parts do the exhausts.

GSF also do them.

Thanks guys, i tried partco and brown Bros when i was looking and they didnt list one for it but if i decide to change and sell the stealth, i'll try gsf etc as suggested

Got some ADVAN thing on my 172, looks s**t but sounds decent, nowhere near as quiet as standard though!!

I've just last week had a cat-back exhaust for my 172 fitted from kwikfit and all I can say is don't use them. Costs £125 for middle section and £225 for the rear box and sounds awful = £350 in total and could of had a Renault one for alittle more - wish I had now.
