Hey was giving my car a check over before its m-o-t and noticed that i will be needing a new back box soon, so ill probs get an aftermarket one, i was just wondering if the aftermarket ones go all they way back to the cat (i have a clio mk2 ph1) the cat is quite near to the front of the car.
I would appreciate any help here.

Aftermarket backboxs will join onto your down pipe and then onto the cat, if you want something to go all the way to the cat then get a cat-back system.

Cat back is mid section and backbox. Backbox only is bolted on to your mid section.

mine isnt i have a full system from the cat back. its a 1.2 not a 172.
