expected increase in bhp

Ok, have just fitted a full magnex exhaust and will be fitting a viper kit next week. What inrease (if any) in BHP can i expect to see ??? Oh by the way its a MK1 172 2000reg

Plenty - I have a Magnex full system and Pipercross panel filter - 158 bhp at the wheels.

Telford_mike...what power did you make before the zorst and filter?

The car was only 4 months old when I had it done, but I remember thinking at the time that it was better (the rr session proved it). Have a think about the Viper though - you may want to get a re-map to fix the fuelling as the Viper can make the engine run a bit lean.

No idea - the car was nearly new. I assume 172 at the fly (now calculated at about 188)

do you need to go to a specialist garage to get a re-map done ?? Any more guesses at the increase in hp
