Experts opinion pls......

right im changing my box oil this weekend and i can get some synth 75w 90 gear oil through work quite cheaply,made by quantum (i use quantum 5w 40 fully synth engine oil and my car loves it so i know its decent stuff) the thing id like to know is is this viscosity ok for my box? i know renualts dont have the best boxes so id just like to check before i change it

i've never liked using 90's but won't do any harm

but the spec is 75W80, (i think from memory) slightly harder to come buy (we stock elf, as per renault's recommendation)

i run ATF in mine though! LOL

lol fair play matey,i spoke to renault and they only sell it in bulk grr,iv got some box treatement to chuck in too,did wonders on my old valver and my hybrid so fingers crossed it will help in this box

thing is mines on 106k now so i wanna make sure that 75w 90 will be ok mate?

yeah will be fine, you can buy the renault elf stuff in 5l bottles, gives us a shout if you want the part number
