eyebolts

talking eyebolts, i got my OMP harnesses the other day, anyone know if all eyebolts have the same thread size? these don't seem keen on going in down on the sills, the rears have gone in fine

AFAIK all eyebolts are 7/16" UNF thread. Unfortunately the bottom mounting points for the front seatbelt aren't! They are M8 or M10 or something and I can't find eyebolts to fit. I found some adaptor thing which I might try (give me a mo to find a link). Otherwise might drill through the sidemounts and bolt on to them. Don't know if this is safe though! Anyone know?

they look quite good, had to spend out on longer rear eyebolts so they fitted over the doorcards too, weird how they fit

ah well i am glad its not me imagining it then, i know of a few people that have eyebolts so will ask them what they have done

Ones on the bottom of the seatbelt rail are M10.

Kev you done anymore on this mate? i have around 6 - 8 weeks to get mine sorted before i should be back on the road now
