Been to Revolutions alot happier,give me my deposit back,apoligised and cleaned my seat.Then tried to palm me off with a £24.99 Richbrook Knob(for the f**ked renault one!)which I politely declined and explained that it had wasted my time,petrol and p**sed me off not to mention the gear knob,I explained if I was going to accept any Knob it would have to be a one of my choice(not his though!!!Ho! Ho!),only fair me thinks.After the lad got onto the phone to the The Boss(for the second time)he came out and agreed that I have one of my choice free,Momo it is then £52.99 Ouch!So Im now the proud owner of a new alloy Momo gear knob.In all fairness they wernt wholy to blame for the c**k-up and they have rectified it to the best of their ability so Im happier and would probably go back to them for parts as theyve promised me a decent discount if I go back.
Theyve been on to B&M and the problem occurs about 1 in 50 times with this stick and model of car?!,B&M must stock K-tec as it was brought up in the conversation by them(dont know if K-tec have encountered this problem though),still dont know what causes it though,to be honest dont care now it may have been a blessing in disguise not getting a quick shift,so Ive now got a couple of hundred pound burning a hole in my pocket and a quickshift..ish look-a-like!!
