just took my car in to see if they will replace my steering wheel under warranty, lo and behold....................very much doubt it, how can they say its not covered, ive only had the car for 13 months, surely its not fair wear and tear??? clios are f**king sh*t

well the wheel itself is mint, but its the rubber inserts they have become all spongy, the right hand side has started to disintegrate, it looks like someone has put a stanley blade to it, ill post pics up later

yup my rubber inserts are all spongey too. No splits or anything just strange feeling when you play with it lol.

Kick up a stink... its quite simple. Just say if you dont do it then ill take it somewhere else to do it at a quarter of the price. Renault always give in... due to the company changing the service rules at each dealer. They no longer have any problems getting the money from renault uk for the work carried out, so they want all the work they can get. (or something along those lines)
