F4R cam covers matched to head?

Are they? I've seen people say they are but I'm sure I remember Fred saying they're not.

So which is it? I'm not talking about ph1/ph2/182 differences I mean will I have problems with the cam bearings in the head not matching closely enough the ones in the cover?

i have gone through 3 covers on this head, as they keep knocking lil bits off when i take cover off, not had a problem matching, but they are supposed to be, yet like i said, dont think you will have and issue

i've swapped out a few, never had a problem

i have indeed, cams wouldn't move once the bolts were torqued, got the cam journals line honed though, wasn't out by much, just enough to bind
