F4R Engine!.....A quick Question.

Hi,

My car has recently started to idle at around 1000rpm as opposed to the normal 850ish rpm.

It can idle anywhere between 1000rpm and 1250rpm, especially when depressing the clutch approaching a junction for example.

Does the car just need a good service?...
Or is it something i've missed?

Anyone could point me towards what they might think it is?

my mates corsa was doing this, was his idle control valve. not sure about your engine though might be worth checking that out.

sounds like a sensor to me mate

getting it checked out by a mate who is a Renault Tech.

all should be fine by satuday anyways, as i have to go in to the dealer to get my SERV and airbag lights extinguished as i'm fitting bucket seats with no airbags.
