May be wrong forum but here goes, I have a 2000 w 2.0 16V espase that requires an engine will the Clio 172 Block and head replace my existing block and head using exising inlet manifold off espase + wiring harness from espase due to both being F4R engines, if not which other vehicles can I source an engine from as not many espaces in breakers yards.

Forget the idea the 172 has the VVt as well and the engines are more expensive plus the 172 hads a different head and CR so the car would need to be remapped.
Just get the block code and use that I'm sure the engine was used in other Renaults.
Or try renault specialst breakers in accrington (google there number) I'm sure they have one it.
