Thats what ma clio is aimed towards, a designated track car!
Me and ma brother are gonna do the swap..
can u run the 1.6 shafts wi a 2.0? or is that asking for trouble?
or can i run 172 shafts wi 1.6 bearings?
the 1.6 shafts wont fit into the 172 gearbox or hubs
you need to change the engine gearbox engine loom uch ecu decoder ring shafts front brakes, hubs and suspension internal wiring loom clocks fuel pump radiator hoses front brake hoses
matt supplies the whole kit for £1500+ vat the reason for this is he includes everything and if your missing somthing or its broke he'll send you a new one you can buy kit cheaper but they wont supply you with things like the vin number so you can have a key made etc,
I even had 2 gearboxes from matts for free when they shouldnt have done and they are always helping me out with diagnostics for cheap.
The conversion can be done cheap but only if you do the labour yourself, if not then your much better off selling up and buying a mk1 172 or even a CAT D repaired MK2 as the labour charges etc will be murder
