factory tweeters

have alpine phantom face hu and top spec boston speakers all round with fusion sub. sounds awesome and well worth expense but have discovered that original tweeters are still connected and even hooked up to the amp.they distort at high volumes so i want to put the knife through them. any tricks to disarm the pesky little blitters?

Take the dash off and simply disconnect them!
