Was there any other 172's in the 180bhp region ?

as far as i know i was the highest powered 172/182 of the day, not sure if any actually made over 180?

all the 172's and 182s ran consistent power, as with last year, the ST isnt running right, its getting a diag as its boosting harder sometimes than it does others. and alis V6 ran under powered last time too so either falklands fan isnt up to it for the V6 or they just arnt making book power.

Be a shite map on the ST imo ! as for the Vee both the Vees that have been run are ment to have been mapped

Standard airbox with standard feeds, something im going to look at next.

personally the 182 manifold was the best i done (along with decat i got a huge gain out of that, i recon thats where most of my 15lb/ft has came from its 10lb/ft up throughout the full graph and peaks 15lb/ft higher than last time and its 20bhp up on last time at 6000rpm!

matched inlets i hadnt drove the car in 6 months when i fitted them so its hard to tell what sort of difference they made. but as the car made bang on standard power when standard id expect the inlets to not have been so bad in the first place so maby not such a big gain to be had.

inlets will be coming off it soon though when the new S2000 inlet manifolds are avalible

yeah my eagle F1s on the front were shot so i had the 2 15" wheels from the dci on the front, cheapest tyres money can buy on them it was scarey lol been saving for 15" wheels and toyo R888's for it so trying not to spend lol

I'd be getting it Rr'd on different rollers and going back to who did remap if its still the same power wise.
Although i've a feeling it could be the Falkland setup going by what has been said on here

Have to say, I've been to a few RR days at Falkland, and know a lot of locals who have work done on their RR, and the figures are usually there or there abouts. Haven't heard of any issues with the setup. Falkland themselves will also tell you it's one of the best about (check the website, lol!)

Fair dos about the focus, but the Vee? figures changed a bit because the fan was moved closer and the windows are boot were opened?

granted the guys positioned the fan at the wrong place first run and engine suffered heat soak on the first run (cured as said by removing engine cover and opening boot) but power figure wise the rollers were fine!

Yeah but you cant expect gains from a Decat without a map to compensate for it mate your car will be now running rich hense the loss !

k tech will do a map for 1.2. aparently 7bhp gain or something. not bad since thats nearly 10% increase. also plummer your induction kit is sucking in hot air in and is also positioned behind the radiator so will loose power that way.

open induction kit by any chance? theirs ur problem, and the decat will be causing it to not run the best!.

16v 1.2's get big gains from mapping actually but iirc yours is an 8v? not sure about them.
