Fans Issue - Possibly not Resistor Pack

I still haven't solved this and now it's hella hot, I want my A/C.

1) When I bought it it only worked on 4.
2) It would work. Then not. Then work.
3) Fred fitted resistor pack at CSS. All worked.
4) Back to just 4 working intermittently.
5) Nothing at all
6) If you wiggle the bottom connector it would come on but then if you turned the engine off it wouldn't be working when you put it back on
7) Another resistor pack. Same thing.
8) Nothing at all. Even when wiggling at the bottom now.

Any ideas? :(

Any way you could test its not your resistor pack?

All wiring done correctly? Is the connector easily replaceable?

Well I've had 3 now, the original, then two replacements, so I'd be pretty unlucky for that to be the case.

I've no idea on the wiring or connectors mate. Mechanics/electrics isn't my strong point

Could be the connector if you have to wiggle it to get it to work? Is it plastic?

It's kind of hidden. I can reach it but can't see it.

Yeah, plastic outers. Wiggling didn't seem to work at all last time. Then I got annoyed and gave up.

Someone MUST be able to help daniel, hes been losing sleep over this.

ClioSport would be incredibly grateful

No climate.

I suppose it could be the switch but then fiddling with the connector shouldn't make any difference if that was the case.

The connector may not be making contact properly on the internals of the dial. That's my guess anyway.

Possibly a dry solder joint on the pcb.

I have never had one in peices, just thinking of possible causes.
