How Long Have u owned Your Clio

How Many Problems if any have u had since owning it

7 Months, 17 reported problems

My 2002 1.2 , had it for 30 months, 1 problem.

My 2004 182 ,had it for 5 months, 0 problems.

2 piece of intorior trim came off on door pillar

3 sunroof rattle

My 2001 1.2 16v

owned comig up to 2 years now

numerous faults from engine electrics to brakes failing.

not to mention things snapping in interior lol

sunroof still rattles lol

2003 DCi 80 dynamique

had since dec 2003

just the usual rattles

egr valve was jammed open but fixed

rear brake squeaks upon release

heater lighting has always been broken

And today of all days the drivers seat catch has broken so I cant tilt the seat to let people in the back, will fix that when I get round to it.

New seat runners
Engine mount
Suspension strut top mod

182 - 10 months

In for exhaust 4 times, replaced entire system
Strut top mod
Engine mount adjusted
Headlamp washer thing leaking

Not bad at all really. Especially when you consider how I drive.

Got that on mine and Renault wanted over £70!

3 year old Mk2 172. Owned for 2 years.

4 minor faults all fixed under warranty (all different, no reoccurances of original faults).
1 fault argued over warranty cover, so bought part and fixed myself.

1 Fault - Emissions Warning Light came on twice.

Fixed the knocking engine mount myself.

petrol coming out from under the back seat

rear drums collapsed

door handle fell off

182 sep 2004 - 2 problems, criuse control button wont stay on and the sevice light came with the abs turned car off then on and its been fine ever since

Bloody hell you had me worried then, gona cost me £9.40 for the bit will fit it myself

I totally agree!!!! One mistake i will regret for ages! But every one said the same thing as me, u would never expect a car to be as bad as mine, i certainly have never known one!

Ill let everyone know how i get on with Renault UK

had it 16 months,

1) 6 ignition coils changed

2) flyby wire throttle changed

3) jack FAILED while i was using it

not too bad, shame renault are the most unfriendly unhelpful people i have ever delt with.

V Reg 1.2 8 valve.
1)Coilover is half off on one side.
2)Side bumper fell off. (Need to get it sorted)

Nothing major still happy with it and looking to get a 182 cup soon.

4 Years, 1 Problem (Aerial leaked and plipper died, renault replaced but didnt fix the leak, so it happened again about a week later, repaired second time FOC).

1.5 years, 2 problems, rattley pinging drivers side mirror replaced and one of me balls dropped off. (washer)

Nothing major at all, I used to find the odd random piece of plastic inside the 1.2.

airbag light on, repair of damage caused by salesman which I was unaware of when buying the car, 12K service, repair by bodyshop because rear spoiler catching on bodywork.

8 months . 12 dealer caused faults I.E scratches on paintwork , broken windscreen , back from paintshop with white overspray , just to list a few , no mechanical faults other than the usual 182 knock

M reg Valver 11 months - 2 problems - Sunroof fooked up and my Immob went up the wall!!!
