M6 IIRC. On the way to Oulton. In the wet.takes about 30min to "bed" them in properly, a few laps of brands with your left foot on the pedal will do
They are the best brakes i have ever had. Red hot, i have felt like i was going through the windscreen.
should the edges of the disks been filed before the pads were fitted as the disks have not been changed?
No i was referring to this.. i Know thye pads need filing so they slide on the carrier
there are variations of two methods really; first is the usual 'avoid harsh/prolonged braking for a few hundred miles', other is the immediate method - something along these lines (although there are lots of slight variations): http://www.zeckhausen.com/bedding_in_brakes.htm
Ahh i see, so theyve done bout 14k, should be fine.

just read through the post. What did renault say about the sticking discs? Did they just change the discs or did they look at the callipers? Could have a siezed piston or slider meaning one of the brakes is working overtime. Did the pads that were removed look the same on both corners?
i know. are the shims little metal clip type things? if so i don't think they did as i got two back with the old front pads.
don't know if i am just over-analysing things but just get the sense that they aren't quite right. might get the bloke that fit them to have a look at the weekend as i'm back to see him to get my matched inlets fitted (at long last!!!)
On mine there were 4 shims per caliper. 2 in the carrier which needed to be clipped off (sort of a U shape :S), and 2 on the back of each pad.
