Why the heck are all the write-ups and reports in every car magazine saying that the Mk2 V6 Clio is on sale from July onwards?
Imagine the furore at the moment, if after advertising that the new Harry Potter book was to be released today, the publishers decided that they arent going to start the printing until October!
They should never have given a July date if they cant keep to it. Why didnt Renault begin building these cars first, then advertise the selling date once they had built up some stock. This is going to create desperation for those who are absolutely desperate to get their hands on one, perhaps encouraging people to pay way over the odds as demand outstrips supply!
Not easy either for those with a Mk1 who want to sell their older car first. I have seen some Mk1s for sale on the Auto-Trader online, perhaps folk who thought they would be getting a Mk2 in July.
