FAO Middo - My Strut Brace.

Well, indecisive about what colour to do it to match the cover, and not one to shy away from something different, i thought i'd give it a a go with two colours. Its a long way off being finished the top and left sides only had one coat and the, so will need rubbing down and layering etc...but i'm quite please with the way is come out. Spent a the evening yesterday rubbing down the original paint surface so it was nice a smooth to spray on to.

Just thought i'd get some pics up, now its dry (at this stage) plus rains stopped play

Got a white sparco sticker on the way too which will sit nicely in the middle

Comments welcome as always...btw for those who don't know, i'm trying to match the strut up with this...

I thought i'd take a pic of it in the engine bay - can still see the red underneath - lol

I'm assuming i've got this the right way up?? (won't be the first time but it looks like it will foul on the coolant bottle? Anyone else fitted a sparco brace, its deffo a 172 one. Suppose i'll be able to tell better once the bracket on the right is removed eh?

Cheers mate, yeah was thinking of andromeda, but time is a little tight and according to Middo is a bit of an arse with the lacquering etc. Plus i've never sprayed anything before so thought i do something simple.
