Once again I have me one of these threads (yay).
My car has been running like an utter dream since having the cambelt etc doing, but all of a sudden it seems to have gone to pot.
My passenger side CV joint seems to have died (clicking whilst pressing hard around right hand bends) and now this....
Basically, pull away hard in first, and you get a definite shaking/vibration, I can't replicate it in any gear, but it feels very much like when I had broken my cambelt cover, and the engine was moving a lot... I can't get it 100% of the time, and it seems to require engaging the clutch quite quickly and accelerating hard.
My thoughts were either a driveshaft or an engine mount?
Now, I'm already changing the passenger drive shaft (to change the CV joint) so I'll see what that does.
The only engine mount that could need changing is the upper gear box, this is so tight no one that has tried has been able to get it undone. So with that in mind I'm getting all new bracketry etc and just starting again.
The top engine mount and powerflex gearbox mount are only 4k miles old.
All thoughts appreciated.
