FAO: the other 9 ppl getting MJ dials

i fancy a grey dial face (maybe brushed alu) with blue notches and clio 16v written in a small subtle font, with blue backlight.

...........but then i saw that they do silver with an ice blue flip and i thought mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Yeah thinking the same. Dont think you can get the flip if you want backlighting.

Want sometinging subtle but then blue at night. With perhaps the red used for high rpm 7-8k.

Also wondering if anything can be done with heater dials as they are also lit the same as the dials.

yeh i was thinkin same bout heater dials, surely just a matter of swapping bulbs behind the dash?

as it would look very gash if we all had some lurverly dials and oe heater lights!

but dont they all run off the same bulbs?

i want to see sample pics of what can be done? where can i look

i also havent had a pm or email about the dials?

why the f**k cant u have and of the decent colours with a backlight???

all cars on the road have backlit dials so why give the option to have them if theyre not guna be useful 2 anyone??

im havin my douvts about these, i know the oe dials are gash, but there plain along with the colours of the dash

i think on there site the dials look crap in the day light

but do look good on modern cars

unlike the 16v

I was wanting the same colour as the Celica pics in the ICE thread, with oe markers but in the Bank Gothic or Serpentine font, with larger font 20,40,60,80 etc and smaller font 10,30,50 etc.With words MPH on speedo and RPM on Rev (instead of RPM x 1000) samller 5mph lines in between the 10mph increments. Blue illumination with ext temp to match, Clio GTT in black on the Speedo and Rev guage and red illumination on the RPM, Petrol and temp guage danger areas.

Aint put too much thought into it really

Oh and with regard to the backlit thing, the way i was reading it is maybe they mean if you order dials but plan on using the cars standard back lighting for illumination not the stuff they use? As if most aftermarket dial kits are anything to go by OE lighting makes them see through in some cases or light up badly.
