Had a wicked time at the track, was good to meet some new faces (Ian, Steve, Jon R etc) and get out on a new track... I have to say though, Spa is the most intimidating track I have ever seen, there's so many flat out if you have the balls sections that makes it very difficult to learn.
I was amazingly slow compared to most of the other people in the advanced section, but didn't quite get overtaken by absolutely everything, so in the end that was more than good enough for me as I felt well out of my depth in that group!
All in all a top weekend and I'll be bringing my car next year as I think eau rouge would be interesting with all that power, plus I'd like to do the Ring after as time and money were at a premium so it was a no go this time round
Only slightly disapointing things about the day was the food, which while 'okay' was far from worth the £25 charged for it, but not really a big deal, just a lesson for next year. Other thing was the european lot seemed to have a different briefing, as they were over taking on both sides and mid corner like it was an actual race... not ideal as we almost got wiped out by some Belgian in his Cup who became a bit of a nemesis car for me! lol
Anyway, pics and vids to follow, so anyone else that went get them up asap.
Oh, one more thing. BIG BIG BIG thanks to Jeremy who managed stop the day being cancelled due to the previous days antics with bikers, not only that but our car and Yoz' were the loudest on there and it seemed a bit touch and go at one point, but again Jeremy's done his thing so many thanks!
