Fastest Phase1 SQM

just wondering what all of u phase one owners run the sqm in? and whats the quickest at the moment i.e who is the record holder?

iv ran a few 14.1@97s in a 2.0 valver, 2live has run a 14.0@98 in his williams and nick read has run 14.0@103? in his clio turbo!

clio rn, stripped out, one seat and harness, 1.4turbo engine conversion, mildley flowed head (head to manifolds) , just rebuilt, overskimmed head for high compression, uprated gaskets, 12.9 high tensile head bolts (tightened to 82.5 nM) T25 turbo, -31 actuator, 2.5inch down pipe, cup mod, cutom crankcase breather setup, custom water cooling setup, custom 3 inch exhaust system (no boxs at all!!!) forge fm104 front mount intercooler, cam, and my own spec carb, will run 20psi when shes run in and 25psi with water injection. all work carried out by myself running an uprated clutch, short ratio gearbox, and gmax race suspension setup.

thought id revive this after reading pgti, whats the current sqm record for a mk1 clio? the car in the mag has hit a 13.4? is that correct? rapid!

nick read has the record with 13.3...mine has done 13.4 in 2005, and 13.51 just last sunday, looking for 12s with slicks next time out.

sweet, what are you 0-60foot times? if you can get sub 2 u should be well on ure way

At the moment they are pish 2.3s as the car pulls very hard after 4k but is a little dull below that....so breaking traction when it comes on cam is a problem...should sort that with some proper slicks...fingers crossed the box/shafts don't snap lol

Not going for gas too risky lol but if I can turn that 2.3 60ft into a 2.0 and carry that speed through the run it should get pretty close.

im coming for that title lol, little bit of a revive, my latest mk1 clio (not the one from the start of this thread) has just pulled a 13.9, 2.3 60ft @ 102 mph. shes running like a bag of crap at the mo so when i sort her out and dial in 0 degs of camber (instead of the 2.2 ive got) i recon ill be able to get mid 13s add some slicks and i recon i might hit a 13 flat

whys that funny? first time out with this car, should have a bit more power in the next few weeks, running a very restrictive exhaust on at the mo, pea shooter so thatll be ditched for a full 2.5inch so that should help alot. add that to a drag setup suspension and better running and i cant see low 13s been a problem
